I turned to Lynda for help in hopes of gaining the knowledge and motivation I needed to exercise regularly.  She quickly picked up on my existing fitness level and the areas where I wanted to improve, adapting our workout sessions accordingly and helping me develop personal goals.  Every session has been a challenge, but she is always encouraging, pushing me further than I think I can go but not too far to handle.  I walk away from my workouts amazed at what I have been able to accomplish, which has been a huge boost to my self-confidence. 

Since I started training with Lynda, my muscle mass has increased, my waist is smaller, and my resting heart rate has decreased.  I challenge myself when I exercise on my own, and I am more conscious of my posture.  I also benefit from her feedback on issues related to nutrition and general wellness. Choosing Lynda to help me take control of my health and fitness was one of the smartest decisions I have ever made, and I encourage others to do the same.

Love the Boot Camp Class……Lynda keeps it interesting ………. changes the exercises weekly…….. Keeps you moving……….. Is willing to work any area that you want to work on……… I have been taking this class since November and along the Kickboxing Classes on Tuesday and Thursday - I have lost over 10 lbs and have firmed up.  I would definitely recommend this class to someone who wants an intense hour workout.

I've worked with Rose for almost a year now, meeting for an hour twice a week. When I started going, I was nervous because I've never been very athletic and I wasn't very in shape. But I've really enjoyed working with Rose: she challenges me without being scary (before I started, I thought all trainers were like drill sergeants).  For example, I used to hate doing sit-ups because they made my back hurt. Instead of forcing me to do sit-ups anyway, Rose told me that they weren't supposed to hurt your back and came up with some modified exercises to build my muscles until I got to the point where I could do sit-ups without a problem. 

You can tell that Rose loves her job: she always seems happy to be there, and she's always bringing in new ideas and exercises. She's extremely reliable and has never canceled a session or even been late. (Once when the power was out in the studio, she was still willing to meet and work with me!)

I also appreciate how flexible Rose has been. I have a demanding job that requires a fair amount of travel and business dinners; Rose has been very patient about me canceling sessions and understanding about rescheduling for the weekend or morning when possible. 

I've been super happy with the results. I can do more push-ups than some of my guy friends now, I can lift way more weight than I ever thought I could, my arms which I always hated because they had no muscle definition now have nice muscle definition, and so on. I've even run my first marathon! (A year ago, I couldn't even run a mile.)
